FlexEdge B.V. ("FlexEdge", "we") values your privacy. In this statement we explain which personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Which data do we collect?
We only process the data you provide to us yourself, in particular via the contact and quickscan forms on this website:
- Name (first and last name)
- Business email address
- Company name and role
- Phone number (optional)
- The content of your message and your answers to the quickscan questions (such as type of site, topic and any technical details about your energy situation)
In addition, our hosting provider collects limited technical data (such as IP address and browser type) needed to run the website securely.
What do we use your data for?
- To respond to your message or contact request;
- To prepare and schedule your quickscan;
- To deliver our services and communicate with you about a possible collaboration.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making and we do not sell your data to third parties.
On what legal basis?
We process your data on the basis of your consent (by completing and submitting the form) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your request and delivering our services.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Requests that do not lead to a collaboration are deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact. Data relating to an assignment is kept for as long as needed for its execution and for as long as statutory (for example, tax) retention periods require.
Who do we share data with?
We engage external parties that help us run the website and our communication. Where necessary, we make data-processing agreements with these processors. They include:
- our hosting and form service (the website and the handling of form submissions);
- our email provider, for receiving your message at info@flexedge.nl;
- Google Maps and Google Fonts, which are loaded to display the map and fonts.
Cookies and external services
This website does not place any tracking or marketing cookies of its own. We do load external resources (Google Maps on the contact page and Google Fonts), in which case your browser connects to Google's servers. In doing so, technical data such as your IP address may be processed. If you want to prevent this, you can block external content via your browser settings.
How do we secure your data?
The website is offered over a secure connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unauthorised access.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to the processing and withdraw your consent. Send your request to info@flexedge.nl; we respond within four weeks. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this privacy statement from time to time. The most current version is always on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
