Proposition 04 · EED audit

The audit obligation is here. The gains are yours to capture.

Meet the audit obligation and use the outcome to save energy and free up room on your grid connection.

From 10 TJ per year subject to the audit obligation Deadline end of 2027 for your first audit Independent advice
The situation

Subject to the audit obligation? Then get energy savings out of it too.

The EED (Energy Efficiency Directive) is the European directive on energy efficiency. For companies it means one thing: a mandatory energy audit every four years. More on the audit obligation at RVO

The obligation
10 TJ

The basis is shifting from company size to energy consumption. From 10 TJ per year you are subject to the audit obligation, often for the first time.

What the EED audit delivers

We check whether you fall under the obligation and deliver an audit that is RVO-proof.

The obligation
4 years
mandatory every four years

If you only tick the box, the audit sits unused in a drawer for those four years.

What the EED audit delivers

We translate the mandatory measures into concrete savings on your energy bill.

The obligation
90%

The audit covers at least 90% of your consumption, across all energy carriers. That takes time and capacity.

What the EED audit delivers

We do the analysis and find immediate room on your grid connection. You provide the data and the signature.

If you don't comply

If you fail to comply, the competent authority enforces (municipality, environmental agency or RVO). That starts with a warning and can escalate into an order subject to penalty payments.

Your first audit must be in place by the end of 2027.
What it delivers, you decide now.

How it works

Three phases, from obligation to savings.

Phase 1 · Energy mapped

A complete picture of your energy

What we do

Your consumption mapped by energy carrier, process and asset, with at least 90% coverage.

What you get

A complete energy balance.

Phase 2 · Measures and savings

Quantified by what it delivers

What we do

Recognised and additional measures calculated for savings and payback period, together with your technical team.

What you get

A weighted list of measures.

Phase 3 · Audit report and action plan

Compliance plus a concrete next step

What we do

Everything to EN 16247 in an RVO-proof report, plus an action plan.

What you get

The mandatory audit plus a concrete follow-up.

Two birds, one stone

A large part of the EED audit overlaps with a flex analysis. That makes the audit a strong starting point in itself: you meet the obligation and lay the groundwork for more room on your grid connection. If you want to go further, the FlexScan or an ongoing Energy partnership follows on seamlessly. The Flex-e subsidy can run in parallel: FlexEdge prepares the application and submits it to RVO.
