The Flex Roadmap
We solve the grid congestion problem inside your business by using the flexibility that is already there, so you are not held back but can keep growing and decarbonising. Three phases from insight to delivery, each with a fixed price and a decision point.
FlexScan
Where do I stand?
In two weeks, for a fixed fee, an expert judgement on your energy situation. You will know where you stand and what has to happen first, and you are not tied to anything. We analyse your consumption per connection, map the congestion around your site, and set that against your priorities and growth plans in a workshop.
You know exactly when your report lands: the two-week clock starts here.
Fill in the questionnaire, supply your energy data or sign the authorisation, and appoint a contact person.
Intake call, questionnaire and data request. Where needed we arrange the authorisation with your metering company. We build the project plan and schedule the contact moments straight away.
You see how much room is left on your connection, which installations drive your peak, and whether you already exceed your contracted capacity.
Nothing. You are available for a short question at most.
We analyse your quarter-hour data, test your consumption against the contracted capacity and interpret the charts that matter for you. We also run the congestion check for your area.
You know what your growth plans mean for your connection, and whether they fit on it.
Make sure the decision maker and someone who knows the installations are at the table, and confirm the session notes by email.
A workshop at your site where we capture and sharpen your priorities and future plans. We record it in session notes.
You know where you can improve your energy system and what that yields, and where you run a risk by doing nothing. Tailored to your own situation.
Answer a few validation questions by email.
We work out the opportunities and risks and interpret them for your business, not in general. Where we are unsure, we ask you a validation question.
You can start straight away: 3 to 5 actions, each with an owner, an investment and a payback period.
Make sure the decision makers are present and set the next steps together.
We translate the opportunities into measures and calculate them on benchmark figures. After an internal review we present the report and set the next steps with you.
Flex Deep Dive
What exactly should I do?
Your energy system examined in detail, leading to a fully worked-out Energy Plan. In detailed conversations with your operators and asset owners we capture what only your people know: how the installations really run and where the room sits. You can then decide on the measures, technically underpinned and internally supported.
An approved subsidy, covering roughly half of the cost.
Sign the quotation, supply your company details and arrange the accountant's declaration. That last one drives the lead time, so we start on it immediately.
We assemble the application and submit the Flex-e request. This runs parallel to step 01, so it does not hold up the project.
You have a validated energy profile: you see where your peaks come from, now and with the expansions you are planning. That is the basis for shifting those peaks.
Arrange access to operators, supply submeter data and validate how the profile is built up.
Detailed conversations with the operators and asset owners of your largest consumers. We build the asset list and the energy profile, including the expansions you are planning, and present it at your site for validation.
You have insight into the cost and impact of each measure, ready to take a decision.
Validate the operational assumptions.
We go from a longlist to a shortlist and calculate each measure on your own quarter-hour data. Beyond the battery: first what your process can already do.
You know what to do over the coming years to let your energy system grow with your business.
Decision makers at the table, and confirm the priorities.
We prioritise the business cases, build the Energy Plan as a multi-year plan and present it to your decision makers.
The Energy Plan and the measures are handed over warmly, so you can get going with the implementation yourself.
Choose the next steps and confirm receipt of the documents.
About two weeks after the final presentation we walk through the plan with your own people, hand over all documents and assign the next steps.

Execute it and stay on course.
Not a project with an end date, but a rhythm. We take on the steering and delivery of your Energy Plan so it does not end up in a drawer. We track progress, dependencies and decision points, guide subsidy applications and supplier selection, and align with the grid operator.
You know every month where the plan stands and where your budget goes, without having to chase it yourself.
Confirm the priorities and the monthly budget, and give access to the decision makers.
We prepare the priority meeting, deliver according to the priority list, monitor your grid load and report on progress.
You know whether the measures delivered what they promised, and the plan has been adjusted to what has changed since.
Assess the results and adopt the adjusted plan.
We test whether the measures delivered what they promised, adjust the Energy Plan and run the quarterly session.
No two energy plans are the same. These are the workstreams we come across most often in practice. Which ones apply to you, and in what order, follows from the Flex Deep Dive.
Unlocking quarter-hour data, adding submeters where the picture is missing, and keeping track of consumption.
Using spare capacity, avoiding overruns, and exploring alternative contract forms with the grid operator, such as a group transport agreement.
Rescheduling equipment, spreading processes and setting up control, so your peak drops without building anything new.
Solar on roof or facade, and wind where it fits. Including what feed-in is still worth to you.
Weighing batteries on their real value, and putting existing backup power to smarter use.
Electrifying heat, cooling and ventilation where it pays off, and lowering the heat demand first.
Fitting in charge points and charging hubs without your peak growing along, and monetising the kilowatt-hours charged.
Preparing and submitting applications, and aligning the timing of your measures with the funding rounds.
EED, EPBD, permits and reporting obligations: on time and without surprises.
Drafting the request, comparing quotations and selecting suppliers, so your choice holds up.
Independent, and from boiler to boardroom.
We sell no products and earn nothing on the measures you choose. That makes it just as easy for us to say that nothing is needed.
Beyond the battery: first the flexibility already in your process, only then new installations. That produces more result per euro invested.
Our analyses match what operators on the floor actually see, and our strategic angle makes sure the decision is backed at board level.
We make use of the Dutch Flex-e scheme: around 50% of the cost is reimbursed. We handle the application. The current round closes on 15 October 2026. More about Flex-e at RVO →
